After immediate coating do not walk on the floor before the recommended curing time. Any introduction of water can cause issues with the coating, even as small as sweaty feet.

When having a luxury floor, there are always maintenance required for your floor. The more wear the sooner these steps will need to be applied below.

* Note: Most dull floors are the result of a thin film left from cleaners. Once a floor is cleaned dry with a clean towel to remove this.

What will dull my floor?
• Stagnant Water
• Improper cleaning solutions (bleach, Clorox, Pine-sol)
• Wear and tear
• Salt on tires

What should I use to clean/refresh my floors?
• PerformanceDIY.com C-900 Floor cleaner
• Blue Ivory soap and water
• Apply PerformanceDIY.com Acrylic Floor sealer
• Apply a floor wax
• Apply another layer of PerformanceDIY.com clear or Poly 200

* Note: When applying a new layer of epoxy or poly the floor must be cleaned and sanded again for the new coating to properly bond.

How do I know when my floor needs to be cleaned?
• When the luster of the floor is no longer to your satisfaction
• Salt rings are present
• There are scratches or marks from daily use
• You desire a thicker floor

GOOD Kit

The GOOD Kit features a single-coat application of high-performance, 100% solids cycloaliphatic epoxy applied at approximately 10 mils dry film thickness (DFT). This system includes a light to medium flake broadcast along with aluminum oxide for slip resistance.

The experience was ok. I ordered the kit with the base coat and the flake thinking that I came with the clear coat. I was under the assumption that this plus the tool kit with the spiky shoes and squeegee was all I needed to clear coat my small office trailer. Unfortunately it did not come with the clear coat. So I had to wait another week to wait for the clear to come in, plus I didn’t include that into the material cost. I can’t rate it lower than a 3 because the quality of epoxy is great for someone who doesn’t know a lot about epoxy. I would just ask Performance DIY to make it clear (pun intended) that you need to buy the clear coat on top of the epoxy kit. Plus some videos of it being installed would be very helpful.(I had to go to YouTube university to figure a lot of it out)
