Performance DIY Shipping Policy
Order Processing
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days during our operational hours,Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. Orders are not processed on weekends or holidays.
Shipping Confirmation and Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a
shipment confirmation email. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking number to activate.
Delivery Times
Delivery times typically range from 4-7 business days but may vary due to unforeseen
circumstances. Please check your inbox, spam, or junk folders for our email, which will also include essential installation instructions via QR codes. The notification is autogenerated from our Mar-Kov system.
Damages During Shipping
Performance DIY is not liable for products damaged or lost during
shipping. If your order arrives damaged, please retain all packaging and file a claim directly with the shipment carrier.
Return Policy
Returns
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you have 30 days from the delivery date to
return it. Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Custom blended colors are not eligible for return. Due to the unique nature of our products, all returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee.
Refunds
Upon receipt and inspection of your returned item, we will notify you of your refund status. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within the timeframe specified by your card issuer. Note that original and return shipping fees are non-refundable.
Shipping Costs for Returns
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. In cases of refunds, the return shipping cost will be deducted from the final amount.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. To initiate an exchange, please contact us at orders@performancediy.com and send the item to 169 N. Gratiot Ave., Mount Clemens, MI 48043.
Incorrect Address Entry
If an incorrect shipping address is provided, any expenses for rerouting or replacement shipping will be the responsibility of the customer. Additionally, for freight orders shipped to non- commercial addresses, a $100.00 fee will be applied for special lift gate service.
Additional Shipping Guidelines
- No PO Box Delivery: We do not ship to PO boxes.
- Hawaii and Alaska Shipping: Air shipping rates apply to orders shipping to these
locations, though orders will ship via Standard Ground. - Order Confirmation: A confirmation email with your order number will be sent once your order is placed. Ensure your shipping address is correct, as redirection is not possible once your package is in transit.
- Order Tracking Notifications: You will receive tracking updates once your order ships.
- Multiple shipments may occur for orders containing various items.
Important: Performance DIY is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once marked as delivered. We encourage customers to monitor the tracking closely.
Store Pickup
For in-store pickup at 169 N. Gratiot Ave., Mount Clemens, MI 48043, please contact us to schedule a convenient pickup time. Store pickups are available Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
Shipping costs will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on your location.
International Shipping International shipping is available upon request. Contact us at 800-841-5580 to verify if we ship to your country. Import duties, taxes, and VAT fees are the customer’s responsibility and are not covered by Performance DIY.
