The GOOD Kit features a single-coat application of high-performance, 100% solids cycloaliphatic epoxy applied at approximately 10 mils dry film thickness (DFT). This system includes a light to medium flake broadcast along with aluminum oxide for slip resistance.
Warranty: 2-Year Limited Warranty
BETTER Kit
The BETTER Kit builds upon the GOOD system by adding a clear epoxy topcoat , resulting in a total system thickness of approximately 20 mils DFT. This system includes a heavier flake broadcast for enhanced durability and appearance.
Warranty: 5-Year Limited Warranty
BETTER PLUS Kit
The BETTER PLUS Kit upgrades the BETTER system by replacing the epoxy topcoat with a UV-stable, high-wear, 100% solids Polyaspartic 300 clear topcoat. This provides superior durability, faster cure times, and improved UV resistance.
Warranty: 5-Year Limited Warranty
POLY-COAT System
The POLY-COAT system is similar to the BETTER PLUS Kit, utilizing a 100% solids cycloaliphatic epoxy base coat with a heavy flake broadcast, followed by a UV-stable, high-wear, 100% solids Polyaspartic 300 clear topcoat. The key advantage of this system is its fast-curing properties, allowing for a full installation in just one day while maintaining high performance and durability.
Warranty: 5-Year Limited Warranty
CERTIFIED System
The CERTIFIED system includes a 100% solids cycloaliphatic epoxy base coat with a full flake broadcast to rejection (full flake system). It is finished with a clear epoxy topcoat, achieving a total thickness of approximately 1/16 inch.
The CERTIFIED PLUS system is identical to the CERTIFIED system, but upgrades the topcoat to a UV-stable, high-wear, 100% solids Polyaspartic 300 clear. This represents the highest-performance topcoat option available, offering maximum durability and long-term protection.
The METALLIC Kit follows the same structure as the BETTER system, but replaces flake with a decorative metallic finish, creating a unique, high-gloss appearance. Total system thickness is approximately 20 mils DFT.
Warranty: 5-Year Limited Warranty
METALLIC PLUS Kit
The METALLIC PLUS Kit enhances the METALLIC system by upgrading the topcoat to a UV-stable, high-wear, 100% solids Polyaspartic 300 clear, delivering superior performance and longevity.
Warranty: 5-Year Limited Warranty

Polyaspartics or Traditional Epoxy
Why are Polyaspartics
the best finish coat?
Polyaspartic floor coatings and 100% solids epoxy floor coatings are both popular options for protective and decorative floor finishes, particularly in commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
Each has its specific strengths and ideal use cases. Typically 100% solids epoxy is a better base coat and Polyaspartics are a better top coat. Here are the key benefits of choosing polyaspartic floor coatings over 100% solids epoxy coatings for a finish coat
⭐️ Polyaspartic floor coatings are highly UV resistant, which means they won’t yellow or degrade significantly when exposed to sunlight. This makes them an excellent choice for areas that receive a lot of natural light.
🚩 Traditional epoxy coatings are prone to yellowing when exposed to UV light, which can be a disadvantage in sun-exposed areas.
Abrasion Resistance
⭐️ Polyaspartic Coatings offer superior abrasion resistance compared to epoxies. This makes them ideal for high-traffic areas or floors that need to withstand heavy use. This means they will maintain a higher gloss level and reduce noticeable scratching better than 100% solids epoxy.
🚩 100% Solids Epoxy: While still durable, epoxy may not perform as well under extreme wear and tear compared to polyaspartic coatings.
Aesthetic and Design Flexibility
⭐️ Polyaspartic coatings are clear and can be applied over decorative broadcasts or colored base coats without obscuring the design. They also tend to have a higher gloss finish which can enhance the aesthetic appeal of the flooring.
🚩 100% Solids Epoxy: Epoxy also offers good aesthetic flexibility and can incorporate colors and flakes. However, the clarity and gloss levels might be less pronounced than with polyaspartic coatings.
Chemical / Stain Resistance
Both coatings offer good chemical resistance, though the specific resistance can vary based on the formulation.
Polyaspartic coatings generally provide better protection against a wide range of chemicals, making them suitable for garages, workshops, and industrial settings.
Polyaspartics are more stain resistant than other type of finish coats.
Maintenance
Polyaspartic Coatings are easy to clean and maintain due to their smooth and non-porous surface.
Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.7 / 5 from 14 reviews.
great product
recommend including recoat and cure times to the instruction sheets for better clarity as to time to wait before applying base coat after primer as well as follow on to applying the poly
Straight forward and easy to work with
had plenty of time to coat the surface and roll it out after the 3 minute mix time
Awesome product and superb quality! A little stressful for a DIY person to make sure that it is used properly and applied correctly however, if you do your research and follow all the rules, you will be fine. I personally suggest a thorough planning of the step by step preparation, buying correct tools and supplies, follow the exact ratios of part A and part B, divide your project area in manageable batches, and don’t panic. Certain parts of my garage floor could be done better but considering that I have never worked with this type of product in past, I am pleased with the results. The only feedback to the supplier, more detailed instructions would make a big difference. Pretty much all negative reviews I read were due to the fact that people literally didn’t know what they were doing. ChatGPT was my sidekick throughout the project.
Just wanted to say I was a little nervous doing this myself but after looking at some of your videos and reading your instructions the process was relatively easy. My only question is do I need to register for the warranty or was it automatically applied from my order?
Thank you,
Leo Bott
It is WAY more difficult to get the appropriate profile on the concrete than it seems. Rented 3 different pieces of equipment and one of them twice. Hand held prep was brutal too. But the end result looks amazing. Doing it as a solo was pretty stressful considering the time constraints on the mixes.
Kit was sealed, but the contents were everywhere. I assume it’s the hardner that leaked. The leaked liquid wasn’t tan although it was quite a mess so I didn’t remove the contents from the bucket
Kit was very easy to use and work, we ended up ordering a 500 and 250 sqft kits for a 660 sqft garage and had plenty of epoxy and chips for the full broadcast. Looks amazing and is extremely durable
We chose the Canyon Brown and Ivory, and it’s a lovely brownish color. The kit arrived very quickly and turned out great! Preparation is key—the instructions are clear, and everything was well-packed, and prepared for work. Very happy with the results!
The floor looks great and feels great. We only did one garage and very much wish we had done both after seeing how it turned out. Highly recommend two people if you have a large garage so you can work at a faster pace
