    For exterior projects, choose a system rated for UV exposure and consider a traction additive in the final coat. More traction can slightly reduce the smooth, glass-like feel of the floor, but it provides a safer surface. That is a trade-off worth making near entryways, pools, ramps, and frequently wet areas.

    Installation Choices That Protect the Finish

    Even the best materials need disciplined installation. Follow the mix ratios exactly, mix for the recommended time, and only combine the amount you can apply within the product's working window. Under-mixing can leave soft spots. Overextending a coating too thin can reduce build and protection.

    Temperature and humidity matter too. Coatings cure by chemical reaction, and that reaction changes with the environment.
